The search functions actually pretty neat if you want to easily preview a hex color. I’ve started to just Google them, which is how I found this site.
Blogger’s post form just managed to crash my entire browser….from pressing control-v to paste an image from one part of the post to another. Don’t make it look like I can do OS style things if I actually can’t.
I can see why people are so into Tumblr.
So I saw this cute short last week, but the source was taken down and all I could find was a poor YouTube version (not worth the loss of quality). But now I’ve found a high quality version so check it out! “Oktapodi” is an animated short about an octopus love affair suddenly ripped apart when one of them gets ripped out of the tank. There is some really spectacular animation and a great story to go with it. Also the team who created it have put up a behind the scenes piece which you can view here.
The thing I was not aware of was that Coke has becoming a generic name for all fizzy drinks in a lot of the south-east USA. Interesting.I’ve always been deeply enthralled by people who say “pop” instead of “soda.”
I laughed so hard when I heard one of my dad’s employees say he was going to go get A POP when I was in Michigan. I completely forgot about learning to call it a soda once I moved to California.
My friend who lived in Boston for awhile told me people there call it tonic. So nutso.
The “open in new window” feature now works in all public themes. This was one of those bugs that was a lot more complex to fix than it seems.
If you have a customized theme, email support@phome.us and we can update it to the new system for you!
Yay!!
Oh man. This person has not led a life worth living. I like how he says he “moved on to the hard stuff” like Jack in the Box and 7-11 (!) burritos.
I live about 20 miles from the Mexican border. I’ve devised a general rule of quality concerning Mexican food: the more difficult it is to communicate with the person taking your order, the more delicious the food will be.
Anyway, he seems to not even realize what a California Burrito is. Just because you got it in California does not make it a California Burrito. I did some research and was sort of surprised to discover that it’s only a California thing. I always figured it was like a California Roll. Some sites mention it actually originating in San Diego, and of course Wikipedia has a raging discussion on the whole thing.
My mom called me because she got a virus or something. She has an OEM Windows disc, so it won’t install over her SP2 copy of Windows (lol).
Eventually she decides to just go watch TV instead.
