Doesn’t that timeline seem a tad bit excessive? If you think about it, I went into full screen mode because I wanted to only see the video. Why would you take up 50px with a gigantic playhead and a bright red bar?

I would be surprised if at any time during the process of iterating through the design of the YouTube player someone actually sat down with a laptop and watched some full screen videos with it.
